Integra Core Services are developed in Java , providing the base for its services to be implemented across a broad range of technology platforms and operating environments.
Its repository is implemented using DB2 tables, using IBM's DB2 Version 5 or higher. DB2 is also available on a wide range of platforms including OS/390, many UNIX variants and Windows. The repository could also be ported to other major relational database software implementations.
The messaging infrastructure used to connect between the Integra agents and the Core Services can use MQ Series or any equivalent commercial message delivery service. The existing Integra implementation uses a JMS interface to MQ Series.
The Integra agents, which are notified of data changes in the source operational systems, and can apply propagated changes to such systems, can be written in virtually any language that suits the operational systems platform and which can interface to the messaging infrastructure.
